What is Needed?

Yes, we are seeking school supplies to distribute to children. They can be delivered to the Ukrainian Cultural Centre at 3277 Douglas St.

Financial donations are used to support the needs of our arriving guests, such as grocery cards, emergency shelter, and other necessities not covered by other programs. Our single biggest expense is grocery cards and ensuring access to food share programs is available to newcomers.

100% percent of donations we receive go toward assisting displaced Ukrainians on Vancouver Island. (Please note that we do pay fees of 3.2% on all credit card donations).

How You Can Help

We can accept financial donations of any amount via e-transfer to [email protected] by credit card or by cheque.

Click to donate by credit card.

Please note: We are a provincially registered non-profit, however we are not yet a federal charity. As a result, we cannot issue tax receipts.

We gladly accept donations of grocery cards to distribute to Ukrainians for the following stores: Thrifty Foods, Fairway Market, Save-on-Foods, Superstore/Loblaws, Wal-Mart, Quality Foods, and Country Grocer.

Please mail cheques and grocery cards to:

Donation of Goods:

We are unable to accept general donated items as we have nowhere to keep them. If you would like to donate items, please list them on our Free Classifieds Listings. Our partnering thrift shops, including the Salvation Army, also support newcomers by providing opportunities to shop, so donating to thrift shops is a fabulous way to support those in need.
