Camosun College – ESL

These classes are help at Camosun College in Victoria, BC.

If you entered Canada under Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET), you will be considered as a special class applicant eligible for domestic tuition in academic programs while holding a valid CUAET permit. You are able to study English as a Second Language and Academic Upgrading tuition-free.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
There are eight course levels ranging from ELD 010 English Basics 1 to ELD 097 Professional and Academic English. The duration of each level is up to 4 months (1 term). Start basic to advanced ESL courses as early as September 2022!

You do NOT need a study permit for the ESL/ELD program if you are studying for less than 6 months.

Duration of study: 4 months
Application fee: $0 (contact us for application instructions)
Tuition: $0 (same as for domestic students)
Non-instructional fees: $ 254*
Student benefits plan: $ 286*
Other fees (books and supplies): from $100*
*Financial support may be available, depending on financial need.

How to Register:
Email: Camosun International Admissions [email protected] and include the following:
1. Your name
2. Your CUAET status in Canada (work permit, study permit, other)
3. Your program of interest (ESL or other)
4. You phone number (WhatsApp/Telegram is ok)

Getting the right documents:
If you are interested in studying for more than 1 term at Camosun, you are required to apply and receive a study permit under CUAET program from the Government of Canada before your classes start.

If you are interested in studying for only one term (up to 4 months) in our ESL/ELD program, you are encouraged to apply for a study permit, but you won’t be required to receive one, if you have valid documents confirming your CUAET status in Canada

Proof of Acceptance (electronic copy of your letter of acceptance) will be provided once you have been admitted to Camosun College.
