HOTEL GRAND PACIFIC
Located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, the Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for more Room Attendants to support our operations. As a member of the Housekeeping team, you will play an integral role in helping our independent hotel provide a superior level of service to our guests.
We provide training, so if you don’t have previous experience but are ready and willing to work, we encourage you to apply!
Duties:
Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture
Make beds and change sheets
Distribute clean towels and toiletries
Stock linen closet
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Clean changing rooms and showers
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
Provide basic information on facilities
Handle and report lost and found items
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Skills and Abilities:
No experience or education required
Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Comfortable with repetitive and physically demanding tasks
Able to handle heavy loads (up to 20lbs)
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Comfortable bending, crouching, kneeling
Dependable and reliable
Effective interpersonal skills
Excellent oral communication
A flexible team player who demonstrates initiative
